Hope and Optimism

Well ,hello! It’s been awhile since I have written for this Blog. I hope all my subscribers will still be interested in reading my posts. Most of you didn’t say anything week after week when I didn’t write so I am assuming your life went on with out my inspiration. Lol. Just kidding. For the few of you who did write or send comments about why I haven’t written, I appreciate that and I am glad that you enjoy them and look forward to reading them each week.

I could probably think of a hundred reasons why I haven’t wrote. I can make up a thousand excuses why I didn’t . The truth is …………… I just haven’t felt like writing lately. It looks as if the last post was in January. So what have I been up to for the last four months ? I guess , as they say, sometimes you’re the dog and sometimes you’re the fire hydrant . I suppose I have been the fire hydrant lately. I left my job of ten years back in November 2008 to take a new job in Canada as a Program Director and Instructor for a Very beautiful and large Martial Arts Facility . State of the art. The place was so magnificent I don‘t think I could have even created such a place in my own mind. It was awesome ! . I made the trip up there, checked out the facility , interviewed , tested and was offered a job doing what I love to do. A dream come true really…….But I decided not to accept the job and not to move to Canada. For reasons far beyond that I am not even going to try and explain here. But now I was unemployed with out a unemployment check because I quit. I guess they don’t like it when you do that.

So what I have I been doing? Let’s see ……… I taught a few series of Tai Chi workshops and did a little work as a Personal trainer at the fitness club. …..Um……. Hum…. ya, that’s about it.

So as you could imagine the financial area of my life has not been so wonderful. In fact it has been a disaster. But as always, time heals and life moves forward. For me , it is crawling forward but I still have hope and I am optimistic.

And …when you have hope and optimism you have a lot. So readers, remember when life gets you down, when things just are not working out in your favor and your not sure if there is light at the other end, remember to have hope and to be optimistic. Things always work out. Really They do. But do not WAIT for them to work out! You have to be pursuing it. You have to have your eyes and ears open and you have to be willing to go out and get what ever it is your after. Some people say “All I can do is just hope and pray”. NO! That’s not all you can do ! . But if that is all you do , you can not expect to get to far. You have to hope, pray and ACTIVELY be pursing those hopes and prayers.

Wikipedia has a great definition for exactly what I am talking about. They say -

Hope is a belief in a positive outcome related to events and circumstances in one's life. Hope is the feeling that what is wanted can be had or that events will turn out for the best.

Hope is something that we want. But not always something that we get . Something that we want AND something that we believe will happen. Our belief plays a huge role in the outcome of what we hope for. If you have any doubt and a lack of believe in the thing you are hoping for or any doubt or lack of believe in yourself then in most circumstances you are not going to get far. But to make Hope work you have to put it into action. Things will only happen when you have hope and you put that hope into action or actively be aware of the opportunities that might present themselves to you. Some people are so blind . Because they are looking for that which they hope--- to come in the front door--- when often it approaches from the back, unseen, unexpected and in the most peculiar ways.

Now to be optimistic is that belief I am talking about. It is the programming of the subconscious mind having yourself believe that what you want will and is going to happen. It is an attitude and a auto suggestion you feed to yourself. Creating a future reality with in the subconscious mind and Spiritual body. That fake reality manifests itself into reality………… and then you have it. It might not be tomorrow, it might not be in a week…. Maybe not even in a month or two. But it will come. Be optimistic and have hope.

Wikipedia says this.

Hopefulness is somewhat different from optimism in that hope is an emotional state, whereas optimism is a conclusion reached through a deliberate thought pattern that leads to a positive attitude.

Create the right thought patterns in your mind and in your attitude. Even at the lowest and darkest times of your life Keep a Positive attitude and have hope.

So, even when things get tight, and the clouds have covered all light. Keep this in mind.

An Optimistic Attitude and Hope can go a long way.

My intention here is not to say “oh poor me” or too let you into the negative stages of my life but to encourage, support and tell you that hope and optimism can take the bad and help you find the good. And no mater who you are…..the realities of life hit and affect everyone no matter who you are or what you do. “We are all struggling , we are just all struggling on a different level“.

And ………Being optimistic and having hope I am now in the last stages and planning of opening my own Wellness center. It’s coming together and should be in full function within a couple months. If you have not visited my website lately then go check out what I am up to and you will have an idea of what my new center is going to be all about. I’m excited!

Be well
